I analysed numerous taglines from various different films from the Thriller genre. I did this because it would give me a very good understanding of what is expected when it comes to taglines, and the effect is intended to have on the audience. Taglines are important because, apart from the name of the film, it is text related with the film that teases the audience on what happens in the movie without giving much away, and tends to be at the forefront of the marketing company of the film.

The Bourne Ultimatum - Remember everything Forgive nothing
Basic Instinct - Flesh seduces. Passion kills
Taken - They took his daughter. He'll take their lives
Interstellar - Mankind was born on Earth. It was never meant to die here
